Yes! Children are welcome. Kids under 6 must wear a life jacket at all times while underway. We have properly sized life jackets for all ages.
Relaxed cruising speed is approximately 6 knots (7 mph) - perfect for sightseeing and enjoying the views.
Alcohol is allowed for passengers 21 and older.
- The designated driver (the person operating the tug) must remain completely sober.
- No glass bottles or containers are permitted on the boat for safety reasons (plastic bottles, cans, or cups only).
- We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel the trip if anyone appears impaired.
We strongly encourage responsible drinking so everyone can enjoy the adventure safely!
Every trip includes your private Big Duck Tug, JBL Charge 6 waterproof Bluetooth speaker, full safety briefing & hands-on training, all life jackets, and fuel for the trip.
Yes - full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot and prepare the boat for you.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. Within 48 hours: 50% fee. Same-day or no-show: 100% charged. Weather cancellations by us = full refund or free reschedule.
Yes - each trip is fully insured for your safety and protection.
No onboard restroom. We recommend using the facilities at Marker 21 Marina before departure. Many guests plan a lunch stop at a waterfront restaurant with restrooms.
We provide USCG-approved life jackets for all ages, throwable cushion, fire extinguisher, sound-producing device (whistle), and all other required safety gear.
Our tugs are compact 9 feet long by 5 feet wide with a 15hp Honda outboard. They comfortably seat a maximum of 2 adults + 2 small children (or 1 adult + 2–3 small children). Perfect for couples, small families, or friend groups who want an intimate experience.
No boating license is required in Florida for our tugs.
- We provide a full hands-on safety briefing and captain training before every trip - the 15hp Honda outboard is very easy to handle.
- Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must have completed a state-approved boating safety course and carry their Boating Safety Education ID Card (plus photo ID).
- Guests 18+ can drive after training. Younger guests are welcome with adult supervision.
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own cooler. We also offer a Premium Yeti Cooler Package ($79) with drinks, snacks, and ice.
